The Victory Lakes development sits at the highest point of Bristow, Va., offering residents of the townhouses and single-family houses sweeping views of lakes and green space framed by a thick border of trees.
“We based the layout of our streets and homes on the natural occurring local creeks in the topography, and we placed our three ponds so that the creeks flow into them,” said Steve Aylor, vice president of the development company Miller & Smith.
The community is in the final phase of development. Miller & Smith bought the 580-acre property in Prince William County in August 2000 and built a neighborhood of 1,296 homes — 687 single-family houses and 609 townhouses in multiple phases…
