A big part of shopping for a new home is finding the community that perfectly fits your lifestyle. Big picture wish-list items are often location, home type, and amenities. However, home buyers sometimes sacrifice one for the other two. At Miller and Smith, we strive to complete the this wish-list trifecta!
With summer right around the corner, and after spending a considerable amount of time inside, we’ve all been thinking about outdoor and recreational amenities. Each one of our communities offer a unique way to enrich the lives of its residents. Whether you’re looking in Maryland or Virginia, we want to highlight our favorite summer fun amenities in each community help you decide which one is right for you and your family!
One Loudoun:
One Loudoun is Loudoun County’s premier downtown neighborhood. This extraordinary mixed-use community offers a diverse collection of shops, restaurants, offices, and entertainment options. The Barn at One Loudoun includes summer concerts for the whole family to enjoy. Pack a picnic and enjoy concerts featuring symphony orchestras or local artists!
Brambleton:
There’s no doubt that Brambleton offers a wide array of amazing amenities, including annual events and weekly artisan and farmers’ markets. There’s never a boring day at Brambleton, but what we love most is the access to over 18 miles of paved trails! That’s right – 18 miles.
Cayden Ridge:
The community of Cayden Ridge is a beautiful neighborhood in itself, but what makes this community so much fun is the close proximity to Signal Hill Park and Signal Bay Waterpark! Signal Bay features over 27,000 sqft of aquatic fun, and Signal Hill Park offers several fields for multi-use athletics.
Embrey Mill:
Embrey Mill is packed with family fun amenities. There are over 15 parks and playgrounds in the community, a new clubhouse and pool on the horizon, and its own Grounds Bistro & Café! But what we enjoy most about this neighborhood is the community garden. Residents can easily walk over and pick herbs and vegetables all summer long from their own garden bed! It’s perfect for those summer cook outs.
Beacon Park at Belmont Bay:
The gorgeous new community sits where the Occoquan River meets Belmont Bay. We love that you’re within walking distance to the harbor marina and boat launch!
Aspen North:
It’s all about lake living at Aspen North! Aspen North features 4 lakes, 3 pools, 2 sports fields, and so much more. Our favorite part of this community is, of course, Lake Linganore. Summers by the lake means boating, fishing, hiking, swimming, community beaches, and exploring 30 miles of scenic trails!
